Change

How is everyone this morning? I have had so much going on in my head this week I am going to try to blog about it... even if Baby K insists on sitting in my lap and helping me choose the keys. :) This morning I am headed to the doctor to have my 7-8 week (I think- he will confirm) ultrasound and exam. I have so many questions for him that I have actually written them down. LOL I NEVER did that with Baby K. I think things are just so different with this baby that I want to make double sure everything is okay.

So about all that change. We still have a house in Florida to sell and traffic has neither picked up or slowed down, we are still averaging about 1 showing every 2 weeks, which is NOT GOOD! My HH came home last week and told me that his boss would like for him to wrap this project up in Jan. 2010. It is scheduled to finish in July 2010 and they are currently running about 60 day behind. My math may be a little off, but in my calculations that means he will have to get 16 mos. of work done in 8. Fun stuff. I think the part that bothers me the most is I know that if anyone in the world can get it done, it is him! He is so dedicated and efficient that if he puts his mind to it and it can actually be done, it will! He has been getting home 3 or 4 nights a week at 7:45, meaning he leaves work at 7 and they have started rotating weekend shifts, so I think he is up for his shift again this weekend. We are very thankful for his job, especially in this economy and I have been doing a good job of not being upset with how much he is not home, but I am a bit anxious. We were even talking last night about how ironic it is that if he does what is asked of him at work it will be to the detriment of his family, BUT, his boss at work and home is the Lord, so if he can do it and it has been asked of him, it will be done. None the less, I had a really disturbing dream night before last where the builder had moved all the stuff out of our house and put it in a new, beautiful house and did away with our house and I was devastated. It was multi-million dollar home, wood floors, marble everywhere, across the street from the ocean and I was so upset that I woke up shaking. (There was more to the dream, that was just the part that pertains.) For so long I have missed our house and the location of our home in FL and I have finally gotten settled here and don't want to move just yet. I told HH about it on his way home from work (EARLY!!!! He had a meeting with a vendor in Rincon.) and he broke the news to me that they actually want him to wrap it up in December. Now, there is a chance that they will get another contract here, but that part (as far as we know) is not decided yet. I think it worries me because if my due date is as I calculated, we would have our new little one in December and I think I would just have to move home with my momma because I don't think I can do the whole take care of 2 kids (one being just days old) and try to move our 18,000 pounds of stuff into a new place. I say all this to remind myself that: Thankfully, I AM NOT IN CONTROL, MY WONDERFUL, AMAZING, PERFECT MAKER IS IN CONTROL. PRAISE GOD! IF HE CARES ENOUGH TO FEED EACH BIRD TO SUSTAIN LIFE, CERTAINLY HE HAS A MIRACULOUS PLAN IN PLACE FOR OUR LIVES AND IT WILL BE EXACTLY WHAT HE INTENDS FOR US.

A friend is coming over to watch Baby K this morning because I couldn't imagine living through (totally sarcastic and dramatic) trying to keep her in order during both the ultrasound and doctors visit without having to climb off the table half dressed and tell her what I expect of her and redirect her numerous times. LOL Anyone out there with me on that? I tried Barney at the doctor last time and it was still a nightmare. She was in a new place and wanted to explore, even tried playing IN the trashcan. Fun! It was not pleasant by anymeans. I am so grateful to Lizzie for coming over today and letting me enjoy seeing our new baby. HH was not able to be there, so I will have to get a pic for him.

I better run get dressed and eat something before I have to leave. Our love to all!

Oh yeah, can you believe I did a whole post without a single picture?? Is it a first???

Fun with Anna and Devin!

Relaxing on the porch after a fun filled day at the Railroad Museum!

I wish you could have seen the look on Devin's face. He was mortified if me or Baby K touched him. LOL That is good news for his mommy. He won't want to date anytime soon!

She drank that whole cup of water on the train. She was so impressed with the whole liquid through a straw concept.
She looked up just long enough to take a picture. You can see she was quite preterbed (sp?) that her drinking from a straw skill was interrupted!
Playtime!

Pics from the last week or so...

Trying to feed her baby.... still learning!
Climbing... as usual.
"Mom, why do you tell me I'm gonna break my neck? I don't understand!"
How cute is this outfit from Mrs. Debbie?
Okay, so she always slouches her neck when she passes out in the car these days so I saw this at Wal-mart and bought it. Unfortunately, it really restricts any movement, so it will be going back to the store. When I put it on her she just looked at me like, "Seriously, you want me to wear this?"
Then she cracked up!
Blowing kisses to mommy! My favorite!
She loves to sit in the grown up chair on the front porch with me in the afternoon. She actually sits still for a little while.
Instead of picking flowers, she picks leaves. Oh well, I prefer my flowers on the bushes anyway!

Learning soo much!

"wanna see my belly?"
"there it is!"

She is learning so much! She thinks every animal says, "woof, woof." Her first learned body part, as you can see, is her belly! She will gladly show you how big her belly is. I think we may have to go back to onesies while in public! :) She also can give kisses 4 ways, puffs of air to you, kisses on the lips, smacks (where she just makes the noise and smiles at you) and now she blows kisses with her hand. Her newest entertainment is making the touchdown sign. We are starting her early in preparation for football season. Her daddy couldn't be more thrilled! She also waves hi, good-bye and good-night.
Lots of videos below. Hope you enjoy!
Pushing her stroller- she did not want to ride anymore.
Showing her belly and saying woof, woof (and clapping for herself!)
Funny face
Blowing kisses and touchdown!
