Welcome to the World of Lovebug's Expressions!

Nana holding our Lovebug
I started this slipcover for her Boppy while I was pregnant, but she came before I expected her and just finished it yesterday. My first attempt at a zipper. Not quite professional, but it zips! She absolutely loves the fabric. She talks to the butterflies. I made a taggie for her out of it and she grabs the ribbons and pulls the butterflies in for a closer "talking to!"
This one is my favorite- so alert and happy!
She's got that tongue out to help her think- who does this look Mimi???
Very flirtatious!
There's that tongue again!
This is what I call her mischevious grin!
Now, obviously very puzzled.
Laughing at me... she must already know I am funny looking in the morning.

Is anyone else having trouble posting???

It took me forever to log in and then it will not give me an option to post pics???

Also, my video clips only work for a couple days. Anyone having same problem or have some solutions?

Dr. Visit (2 mos. shots continued)

Hey everyone,

We are anxiously awaiting Nana's arrival. She is driving in today from Louisiana and we can't wait for Great-grandma to meet Great-granddaughter. Both parties are very excited. Little Bit got all dressed up for her big day.

Unfortunately it started by her trip to the Dr. We are on an "alternate" shot schedule, meaning she gets a couple shots every month instead of a bunch every two mos. I am not sure which is better, but this is what I had peace about. There is a chance that my husband "caught" type 1 diabetes from an immunization in the military (as he was in the best shape of his life and 3 or 4 other guys all running miles a day came down with it at the same time).

She is still vomiting a whole lot, but it is limited to only once or twice a day (still too much in my opinion) so doctor said to slightly up her dose of Zantac and keep doing what I am doing. Little Bit seems to only be bothered by it slightly. It usually wakes her up from a nap and she will cry and when we check on her she has vomited and has to be moved until her nap is over and I can change her sheets. Praise God for her zip-off sheets!!! We go thru at least 3 sheet changes a week, so this is a huge blessing. Thank you Linda for my sheets, they are truly a God-send!

Well, the doctor said her head is now in the 50th percentile (it started in the 5th!!!!!). I guess my husband was right, she did have a little head, but he certainly didn't need to tell me that!!! LOL Am I the only one who feels that is slightly insensitive when you have worked so hard? Okay honey, you were right!!! I admit it! Love you!

Her weight was also in the 50th weighing in at 11 lbs., 14 oz. She is in the 60-75% for her height at 23 1/2 inches. It is hard to believe I, yes short me, could have a baby that is above average for height!

Well, 2 shots later we went to Publix to get a few groceries and I guess all her crying after the shots wore her out b/c this is what she did....

I guess she didn't have much "shop" in her! She just wanted to nap, which is EXTREMELY rare in her carseat. She usually wails until I get her out and put her in my sling. Which, have I shown you how much she loves it? Here is a picture of her in it while my mom was here:

When she is awake she sits up and reaches for stuff and is just as happy as can be. Usually when she falls asleep I tuck her head in so she can lay down and relax. She loves it!

Here are just a few more pictures from this week: She loves these pants... she just stares at them and pulls on them. It is too cute to watch.

Skeeter bug...

Our new (used) truck which was hit the 3rd day it was driven!!! Ugh!

I am a big girl in my bath now... I can't wait until I can sit on my own:
