I'm feeling like I owe you all a post! :)

So, no pictures this time, but soon, I promise!

I went to the Dr. today. I am almost 12 weeks, I think 11 weeks and 4 days or something. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat and it was beating at 161!!!! Who still thinks a boy??? LOL That was pretty fast! I have been eating like it is my last meal at least 3 times a day, sometimes 4 because I am always starving and I have gained, wait for it..... drum roll please..... 1/2 a pound. LOL Yeah, so I thought it was like 4 pounds and it was 1/2 a pound. Don't ask me to make a prediction, that clearly shows you I have NO IDEA, even when I have the luxury of jumping on a scale and not having to guess.

So, speaking of guessing, I have had a dream we were having a boy and a dream we were having a girl, soooooo it's one of the two. You already knew that, didn't you??? I did schedule the appointment for the 20-week ultrasound and we will find out (if the baby is willing to reveal) what we are having on July 29th. My mother has already booked a flight and I am waiting to see if my mother-in-law will be able to make it. We thought they may enjoy sharing that moment with us and seeing their new-to-be grandchild in black and white. I know I am completely excited!!!

It is still very surreal to me. I can tell when I lift my shirt up that something is not the same, but by no means can anyone else. I have a picture on my fridge of a little head and a tail, but it is still not real to me. I am nauseas most mornings (sometimes all day, but the pills have helped) and exhausted 24/7, but I just chalk that up to having an almost 15 mos. old little toddler. My HH is marking the date on his calendar so that this pregnancy can become real to him too! I am so excited and feeling so blessed to be given a beautiful, cuddly little girl, an amazing husband and father and another miniature blessing on the way! Wow, that's too much!!! Lord, thank you!

On the home front, literally speaking, we had some good feedback from a showing this weekend which makes us feel like lowering the price was the right move and hopeful that we won't have to go much further. Thank you soooo much for all your prayers and support. We are so thankful for our prayer warriors out there.

Til we talk again, our love to all!

To all my believing friends and family!

I don't usually worry about our home in Florida selling, but quite honestly it is overwhelming my thoughts right now. We really need to sell it. The market is getting soooo bad and even though the news and everything else says things are looking up, reality is, it is not! In saying that, thankfully HH and I sunk all our our equity into that home which is a saving grace because otherwise we would need to find a way to come up with alot of money just to justify dropping our price again. Instead we are just having to come to terms with losing all of our equity and trying to get enough to walk away without oweing (sp?) money to move on. I ask each and every one of the believers out there to please say a prayer for the Lord to bring us a buyer and that it would be enough to at least get us out from under the house note we have there and move on. We miss it there still, even though we like it here, and I just pray that the Lord will let us finally move on and that he would bless us with an offer high enough that we aren't scambling for money to be able to sell it to another family.

So, in summary, could you please pray something like this: Lord, I ask that you intervene in HH & K's home transaction in FL and bring them a buyer who offers enough for them to be able to sell their home for at least what they owe on it.

I reallllllly appreciate it! Thank you in advance for your petitions to our Savior on our behalf. Our family has been believing God in this area and we will continue to knowing that he has a plan for our lives and that we are to be faithful in our call.

Thank you!
K

A beautiful rocker!!!

Every little girl needs a homemade rocking chair that is all her own. Baby K had one specially made, just for her, by her Great Grandpa Pat. Check it out!

She can be found most days crawling over the sides and standing up waving her arms and dancing in the rocker. She is a little daredevil and is loving her new chair!
Thank you Papa!!!

Just a post to get you by....

After her bath she brought Daddy all of her bows and he put them all on for her so she could be dressed up for dinner. She was so proud of all her bows.

On Sunday I hosted a shower for a good friend and Daddy took Baby K to the mall! A few minutes after he left the house he called and asked if she had any shoes and no, she didn't, but on top of that, neither one of the stroller was in the truck. Poor guy, he had to carry her everywhere. I am certain she didn't mind though.

When they got home she came in with a huge smile on her face hugging her new teddy bear her daddy bought her. She loved her Daddy-Daughter date! I was so glad that he was willing to take her off my hands for just a couple hours of girl time, sipping punch and eating some yummy food while fellowshipping with some really lovely ladies!

She talks up a storm now. She is pretty much always making a noise of some sort. Here is a video of her last night right before bedtime.

Just a little dancing for your viewing pleasure...

So, usually Baby K "dances" by stomping her left foot on the ground. WELL, thanks to the Backyardigans she has added a twirl! I had to reduce the amount of Barney that she consumed, so we are supplementing with a little Backyardigans and Dora... but only when her daddy is gone because Multinationalist TV isn't his idea of a good time. LOL I don't think learning spanish, french or even sign language is in her future. :) Enjoy!
She is showing you that she is "1"!!!

Seek Shelter!!!

It is HOT!!!! Baby K and I went to a friend's house this morning and decided to walk (her in the wagon). Ooh, I thought I was gonna pass out on the way! It is smoking hot already. She had fun, a little cautious and scared in the pool, but overall had some snacks, played in the swing and ran around. Here are a few pictures:

We have already bathed today and put our jammies on and are staying out of the heat for the rest of the day!
We went to the fire department to see the trucks and firemen. Here are a couple of those pics:

LOOK AT THAT BELLY!!!!!

She loved that hat.
