Changes, changes, changes are headed our way.
I have been up for quite a while this morning thinking of how calm things are at the moment in our house and how shaken up they are about to be!
It appears that our estimated time of moving will be after mid-February. We are still unsure of where, but have been given a general idea. Both locations are very foreign to the both of us and it will take so much more to get moved this time as we will have two little ones to look after and put first. It is very scary to say the least, but I am trying to keep reminding myself that wherever we end up that God is there and we are not alone and he will protect us and keep us as a family unit through all the stress that is headed our way. Knowing that I have a husband that loves me, a family that supports me from afar and soon to be two sweet children that are gifts from the Lord really helps remind me that He never leaves us and will never forsake us. We are so blessed and when the time comes I have no doubt that He alone will give me the strength to get through whatever he has in store for us.
Adding another little one is so exciting and so overwhelming to think about. I feel like such a failure as a mommy so often because I know that there are so many moms with more patience, energy and domestic abilities than I possess. Now will I feel like that times two? I hope not. I want to do right by my little ones and have them feel loved and cared for everyday of their lives and look back on their childhood and know that they have two parents that love each other and love them more than we could ever express and that they would never doubt that love. I want to be the one that my daughter turns to when she has hard questions and I want to be the one that has a son that is a momma's boy because he was well taken care of- but not too well. LOL He will have to have responsibility of course!
Oh Lord, calm me. I need to give all of this to you and am trying to hold onto it. Take it from me!! I want to spend the next few weeks (or 18 years!) loving on and enjoying my children as this will be such a special time for our family. Please help me to minimize the need for perfection in my life and surround me with people who will help me to realize that perfection is overrated and not worth it and change lifelong habits!
The little one is up, gonna go get my first kisses of the day. Love you all!
